Somehow we think if we fill kid's heads with information, they will love Jesus. Information is vital, but without application and life change, it can be seed that falls on stony ground.

This month's Spark is about one of our top priorities at God's Kids....the Safety and Security of the children. You'll see the news story of a girl who was recently kidnapped from another church in our area. I share some key things that each of us must remember to keep the kids safe and secure at our church.

Easter is just around the corner. We will have hundreds of new children and families visit across all of our campuses. Let's go the second mile to be Jesus' arms of love reaching out to them. We are His hands and feet. What a privilege it is to serve Him.

Thank you for your heart to make a difference in the lives of kids and families. It's an honor to serve with you at Christ Fellowship.

March Spark

This month two special guests join me as we discuss helping other people grow in their faith by inviting them to serve. Ephesians 2:10 makes it clear that serving is a big part of being a disciple of Jesus. Jesus modeled serving when He said,"I didn't come to be served, but to serve."

Take a few minutes and be encouraged by this short video. God can use you to help your friends,co-workers,family,and people you attend church with become better disciples by inviting them to serve.

This month's Spark is about how to be an effective farmer. You read it right. The Bible compares us to farmers who are sowing the seeds of God's Word into the lives of kids. You'll learn about the four types of soil that represent the four ways kids respond to God's Word. You'll also discover how to help kids understand the Word of God and see it bear fruit in their lives.

The 4's

Mathew 28:19 says, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations..."

As followers of Christ, we are called to help other people grow in their faith. What an awesome privilege to invite someone to join you in the journey of following Christ.

Matthew 23:1 says, "The greatest of you will be a servant."

One of the keys to growing in your faith and becoming a disciple is serving. You have been able to experience this first hand as a God's Kids Team Member. You have also experienced the joy that comes when you invest your life in others and see God work through you to make an eternal impact.

Think about someone you know who could grow deeper in their faith if they started serving. We are encouraging you to reach out to them and invite them to join you as a God's Kids Team Member.

Pastor Todd recently shared a great vision for our church's future. Incredible days are ahead. We are believing and praying for God to literally change our area for Christ. It's going to take all of us serving together and bringing others along with us on the journey.
